Note that Amnesty has just reported against Hamas! Israel says the report is lacking but nevertheless the report says:

"It concludes that the vast majority of civilians who died were killed by Palestinian fighters and that all held in Gaza were unlawfully detained as hostages. It presents evidence that some of those captured were subjected to physical and sexual violence and others were killed by their captors. It determines that many of these violations constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity, including murder and torture."

Please let this be a turning point!

see you are now attacking Palestine Action hungerstrikers. How that has to do with antisemitism (rather than the state of Israel) only the IHRA guidelines as interpreted by Dr D. Rich know.

you claim that they are being treated 'like every other remand prisoner"- that's not true is it Dave old bean? Other remand prisoners aren’t kept in prison for over a year and treated as if they’re already guilty.

The interesting thing is why does an „antisemitism campaigner“ get so exercised about hunger strikers . Why do you get so agitated about criticism of Israel? It’s almost as if antisemitism isn’t uppermost in your mind.

Maccabi tel aviv fans are racist thugs, thankfully they were banned before they could go on a hunt for arabs, thankfully eufa just fined them and banned their fans for their disgusting re racist genocidal chants

You wrote a piece about antisemitism In the Guardian today, Dr Rich.

Strangely your focus was on the almost entirely peaceful marches attended by hundreds of thousands of people criticising the mass slaughter of civilians by the Israeli military.

You claimed:

"it seems this movement has generated and sustained a political culture in which violence is both conceivable and enacted."

What would we see if a critical lens were turned on the movement you appear to spend an inordinate amount of time defending - (and taking every opportunity to silence critics).

If you really want an example of a political culture in which violence is " both conceivable and enacted" how can you leave Israel out of the picture ? - Hiw many Palestinian civilians have been killed in the last two years.? In Gaza, In The West Bank? What about the past decades?

Now Israel has gone from "mowing the lawn" killing a few hundreds or thousands to killing tens of thousands. egged on by members of the Israeli government calling for open genocide.

The horrendous loss of life in the Bondi massacre (whose perpetrators have no proven connection whatsoever to the pro Palestine movement as far as I know) would be unremarkable if it had occurred in Gaza. A blip - a fraction of the numbers the IDF kill most days.

Now THAT's a political culture that enacts violence. And you seem singluarly unconcerned about depite the horrendous distortion of Judaism and insults of Jews the Zionist movemnt Jewish and secular produce on social media . Why dont you spe3ak out about that. Dr Rich Instead educated and right thinking people like yourself do your best to normalise it.

And to silence any critics.
